Hello! I'm Valerie Charles, the owner & operator of Triple A Promotions. I've had a passion for the marketing industry since high school where I held a leadership position in DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America https://www.deca.org/about/) and worked as a promotional product representative. As an undergrad student at Arizona State University I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication with a related area of study in Marketing. Eventually I taught Marketing courses at Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon (https://www.warnerpacific.edu/).
The opportunity to acquire Triple A Promotions presented itself in 2018 as I completed my Doctorate degree in Organizational Psychology and was working as an executive/business/personal coach and trainer specializing in Emotional Intelligence & Communication. Triple A Promotions offered another way for me to help companies & individuals thrive, which is what drives me professionally. I'm the third woman owner of Triple A Promotions and it's exciting to build upon the foundation that was laid before me.
Outside of my career I love adventures...exploring the outdoors hiking, biking, and taking long walks. Sunrises and sunsets give me peace and inspiration. I've gone on some incredible road trips throughout the United States - one of my goals is to visit all of the national parks and explore every state. I've lived in Oregon, Washington, and California, as well as Phoenix and South Carolina. I've had the opportunity to visit Cadiz, Spain and Tangier, Moracco. My dream destination, Ireland, was scheduled to begin March 3rd, 2020 - I'm sure you can guess why that didn't happen!
